Sebas Lorente, ambassador of The Mail Company, second classified in the scratch category at the IWGOC 2018 held in Palma de Mallorca
Once again Sebas Lorente has shown that he is one of the best players in the world of wheelchair golf. The sample, his final card after his participation in the International Wheelchair Golf Championship IWGOC 2018, celebrated this weekend at the Mallorcan Golf Club Son Antem.
Sebas finished second in the scratch category for players who play with both hands and in sixth position in the general scratch with 8 and 10 stableford points, respectively. The winner of both categories was the Dutch Richard Kluwen and the second classified in the general category was the Argentine Mariano Tubio.
The good classification of Sebas Lorente, ambassador of The Mail Company, has even more merit if, as he explained “by a chain of inconveniences, I could not participate in the training on Thursday, so that both Friday and Saturday I went to the field discovering the holes as I came to them. The field was in good condition and despite the precedent of previous days, the rain hardly appeared during the competition. Taking advantage of the fact that Son Antem has two routes, the first day was played in the east and the second in the west”.
Sebas Lorente was the only Spanish participant in a tournament that hosted 41 players from Germany, Finland, Brazil, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Australia, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Israel, France, Norway, USA, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, South Africa and Holland. The awards ceremony was held on Saturday 17 at the Palma Aquarium.
Next stops, IFMA Work Place Summit and a tournament in the Algarve
As ambassador of The Mail Company, Sebas Lorente has two different commitments this November. The next will be tomorrow, Tuesday, November 20 where he will give a talk on the impact of motivation and leadership on productivity in work environments, in the Barcelona edition of Work Place Summit 2018. As for golf tournaments, Sebas Lorente will participate between November 23 and 24 at the EDGA Algarve Open, which will take place at the Vila Sol Golf Resort in the Portuguese region.
