The Mail Company will distribute more than 400 free gifts of the campaign “Buscamos Reyes Majos 2018”
The Mail Company joins for the sixth consecutive year the project “Buscamos Reyes Majos”, which will grant Christmas wishes to 1,500 adults with unfavorable socioeconomic status.
Initiative of the Fundation Miaportación, the project aims to get volunteers who want to grant a wish of the Letter to the Kings to an adult person in an unfavorable socioeconomic situation. For this, the Miaportación Foundation collaborates with different social entities from which unfavorable users write their letter to the Kings. Once again, expectations have been surpassed, achieving in just a few days the more than 1,500 volunteers needed.
The 2018 campaign has gathered letters to the Reyes Majos that come from social entities in Asturias, Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid, written by homeless people, elderly people, people with disabilities and families at risk of social exclusion.
Reyes Majos, Companies “Majas”
It is already tradition that the initiative is also joined by employees from different companies that collaborate as a group or individually through the figure of “Corporate Rey Majo”. For the sixth consecutive year, The Mail Company assumes the collection and delivery of gifts free of charge to all people and companies that collaborate through this modality. This year the number of gifts distributed by the Corporate Majos Kings amounts to 422, from eleven Companies “Majas”: Atrápalo, Grupo Freixenet, Garrigues, Grupo Sifu, King, ESL Education, F. Initiatives, Opentrends, Rentals United, DHL and Cuatrecasas.
